Carlos Fernández completed his law studies at the University of Valencia in 2014, for which he got the extraordinary degree prize. He joined the Bar Association of Valencia in 2015.
Since 2015, he works at Lozano, Hilgers & Partner SLP.
Carlos Fernández advises both domestic and foreign companies and private individuals on cross-border mandates in the areas of procedural law, tax law and commercial law.
In the area of litigation, he is specialised in lawsuits concerning real estate, land register law, inheritance law and commercial law. In this regard, he focuses on the design and structuring of the procedural strategy, with a particular emphasis on the transnational elements of the legal proceedings.
Another area of his expertise is tax law, in which he dedicates himself mainly to the conception of tax planning models with respect to asset transfers and wealth management, as well as the establishment of foreign companies and investors in Spain. Furthermore, he has extensive experience in legal proceedings before the tax authorities and tax courts.
In the field of commercial and corporate law, he advises businesses and freelance professionals on the incorporation of companies, restructuring measures, business transfers as well as during corporate and financing crises. In addition, he is specialised in the drafting and analytical examination of commercial contracts and general terms and conditions.
