Background
Anna Pozzato is co-founder of LPO (since 2016) and since 2020 she has engaged in a stable collaboration, as Of Counsel lawyer, with Dike Schindhelm.
She is a member of the Groupe de Travail Contrats Internationaux - GTCI (since 2008), headed by Prof. Filip De Ly of Erasmus University of Rotterdam, The Netherlands. She was also a member of the International Contracts Working Group sponsored by Unindustria Treviso. She participates as a speaker at seminars and training events.
She was partner of the law firm Dike di Bologna (2012-2015) belonging to the international Schindhelm Alliance and worked at the law firm Morresi di Bologna e Treviso (2007-2011), Cleary Glottlieb, Milan (2006). She held two internships in Brussels, one of which at the European Commission (2005).
She is admitted to bar (since 2007) and to the Court of Cassation and other Superior Jurisdictions (since 2021); she is registered with the Bologna Bar Association in Bologna (Italy).
She studied law at the University of Bologna, where she graduated with a degree with honor (2002), and at the University of Alicante (Spain), where she was an Erasmus scholar (2001). She specialized at the Biennial School of Legal Professions in Bologna (2002-2004), perfecting with a Master's Degree for International Lawyers (2006) and a PhD at the University of Padua (2010), with a training course for Arbitrators being now listed as an arbitrator with the Court of Bologna (2018), with an advanced training course in anti-discrimination law being now listed as a lawyer expert in labour law and anti-discrimination law with the Regional Councillor for Equality (2019), with an advanced course in Digital Forensics at the State University of Milan (2019), with a specialist course in anti-discrimination law organised by the National Forensic Council and the National Councillor for Equality (2021).

Anna Pozzato assists national and foreign companies in the field of national and international contracts and ongoing legal advice to the various corporate functions (commercial, marketing, treasury, credit department, HR, HQSE, DPO).
She has particular experience in the field of legal process outsourcing, providing outsourced legal function to SMEs and large companies, including international groups, also as internal legal acting ad interim.
She assists companies in the registration of national and international trade-marks, as well as in the procedure for the international extension of such marks and in trade mark and/or patent licensing agreements and in opposition proceedings both before the UIBM (Italian Patent Office) and the EUIPO.
Although her natural propensity to settle disputes out-of-court through the formalisation of settlement agreements, she has gained considerable judicial experience, in particular, with reference to the regulations on subcontracting (Italian Law 192/1998) and abuse of economic dependence (in relations with suppliers), as well as in labour disputes and alternative dispute resolution (assisted negotiation, mediation, ADR, ODR of the European Commission).
