What is capital company?

A joint-stock company is a capital company. The minimum share capital is CZK 2,000,000 or EUR 80,000. Prior to registration in the Commercial Register, the founders must pay up the entire share premium and at least 30 per cent of the nominal value of the subscribed shares. The company is only established upon entry in the Commercial Register. As a legal entity under private law, a joint-stock company is liable for its obligations with its own assets. Its governing bodies are the board of directors (statutory body), the supervisory board and the general meeting.
