Background

Clemens Harsch has worked at SAXINGER in Linz since 2007 and completed his lawyers’ examination in 2010. Since 2014 he is partner atSAXINGER in Linz.

  Between 2000 and 2005, he studied law at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz and then followed this with a postgraduate course at Strathclyde University (Glasgow) in the special field of IT & Telecommunications Law which he completed with distinction.

In 2011 he completed the MBA program for lawyers at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz. His Masterthesis covered the topic „The new regulations for equity under Basel III and their transformation into european law focusing on the possibility to minimize credit risks using credit default swaps.“

Expertise

Clemens Harsch advises international and national clients on corporate law in the area of mergers & acquisitions, on national restructuring law and general corporate law.

In the field of banking and finance he advises banks and other financial institutions in regulatory affairs as well as banks and investors in questions of liability. Concerning these topics he regularly gives lectures. Clemens Harsch is a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Joanneum in Graz and at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz.

In the area of information technology, Clemens Harsch is active in particular in the area of telecommunications and data protection law.
